Creative Director + Filmmaker

New York made me. The world shaped my eye.

I’ve shot stories on all seven continents, creating films and campaigns across sport, culture, community, and brand. My work combines a documentary sensibility with a cinematic point of view, and a fascination with people, place, and the stories worth telling.

Now based in Venice, California, I bring that perspective to brands and stories that want to say something.

N7 SU24 - Tradition Strengthened

Creative Direction · Brand Storytelling · Integrated Campaign

See the full campaign.

Lauren Thomas, an Indigenous designer at Nike, created a collection inspired by her roots, resilience, and a vision for a more hopeful future. The opportunity was to turn that story into something bigger than the product, and a dynamic expression of empowerment that could resonate with Native youth and connect a wider Nike audience to the meaning behind N7.

The Brief

The campaign came to life through two complementary creative expressions:

BEHIND THE DESIGN video

An episode from Nike’s Behind the Design series spotlighted Indigenous designer Lauren Thomas, whose work shaped the N7 collection. Her story brought a deeper layer of authorship to the campaign, connecting the designs directly to the culture and creative perspective behind them.

THE COLLECTION, REIMAGINED photoshoot

For the campaign imagery, I worked with renowned photographer Camila Falquez and Lauren Thomas’ designs to create a bold, dynamic visual world. Elements from the collection became the foundation for three distinct sets, creating an unexpected landscape where fashion, movement, identity and Indigenous design could collide.

The resulting visual system extended beyond the shoot, carrying through social, digital and in-store merchandising to create a cohesive N7 experience wherever the collection appeared.

The Creative Idea

One creative world. Multiple expressions. The visual system was designed to scale across Nike's ecosystem:

Creative Direction · Brand Storytelling · Editorial Content

The Brief

Visa wanted to connect with travelers through a richer, more intimate view of the destinations they dream about, moving beyond the typical travel guide to capture the people, places and experiences that make somewhere worth discovering.

The challenge was to create a global series that felt cohesive to the brand while giving every destination its own personality.

Rather than approaching each destination as a checklist of landmarks, the series was built around the people who know each place best.

Each story follows dynamic local talent as they eat, explore, move and play, revealing a more personal side of the destination through their eyes.

From surfing in Montauk to exploring Lisbon, discovering the bourbon of Kentucky and the landscapes of British Columbia, and experiencing the color and character of New Orleans and Palm Springs, each film offered a distinct sense of place while belonging to the same visual world.

The Creative Idea

The Campaign System

The campaign became a collection of twelve short-form films and articles, each designed as its own editorial story while following a consistent creative framework. The result was an award-winning travel series that made the world feel a little closer.

PUBLIC SAFETY CANADA

Creative Direction · Brand Storytelling · Executive Production

I wanted the film to show the breadth and diversity of Indigenous life, using authentic people, places, relationships and cultural details to create a world that felt specific and lived in.

For the trafficking storyline, I wanted every detail to feel real, from the location and wardrobe to the behavior and cultural context. I worked closely with Indigenous cultural consultants, a social worker and law enforcement advisors to ground the story in reality.

The result was a film that felt visually compelling and emotionally immediate, with authenticity at the center of the creative process.

The Brief

Create a series of public safety content for broadcast during the 2026 FIFA World Cup that could communicate a complex public-safety message while feeling human, culturally grounded, and relevant to the communities it was intended to reach.

The Creative Idea

The content was created as part of Public Safety Canada’s 2026 national human trafficking campaign, developed with Indigenous perspectives and trauma-informed, survivor-centered messaging.

The work extended across broadcast, digital, and social channels, connecting a highly specific Indigenous story to a national public-safety message.

A WOMAN’S GUIDE TO THE WORLD

Original Documentary Series · Creator / Writer / Director / Producer / On-Camera Talent

Watch the series here.

What if women were the heroes of their own adventure stories?

I created A Woman’s Guide to the World in 2015 as an original documentary series exploring solo adventure, self-discovery and what it means to move through the world on your own terms.

At a time when adventure films overwhelmingly centered men, I wanted to create a different kind of protagonist. I developed the entire series format and creative, then wrote, directed, produced and appeared on camera.

The Creative Idea

The premise was simple:

Go somewhere extraordinary. Go alone. Tell the story honestly.

Rather than focusing on extreme feats, I wanted to explore the internal experience of adventure: navigating uncertainty, trusting your instincts and discovering what you are capable of when there is no one else to tell you what to do.

The series took me winter surfing across New Zealand's South Island, sailing toward Antarctica aboard a 100-year-old tall ship, and deep into the Amazon in Brazil.

BUILDING THE WORLD

I designed the project as more than a series of films. I built an editorial ecosystem around the stories, creating original articles and extending the project through magazines, podcasts and film festivals.

The films were distributed internationally across platforms including Amazon, Hulu, Outside TV, GloboSat Brazil, PayTV Russia, The Surf Network, Stuff Media, SurfCam and Air New Zealand's in-flight entertainment. The New Zealand film reached hundreds of thousands of viewers worldwide.

THE RESULT

  • Original documentary IP created from the ground up

  • 3 international adventures

  • 25 to 37 minute documentary films

  • Hundreds of thousands of viewers worldwide

  • International streaming, broadcast and digital distribution

  • Film festival selections and editorial coverage

  • Original articles and podcast appearances

At its heart, the series was about agency. I wasn't interested in telling women to be fearless. I wanted to show what happens when you go anyway.

The project became an early expression of the creative philosophy that continues to shape my work: find a human truth, build an original world around it, and create as many ways as possible for the story to reach people.

Most importantly, the series wasn't just about watching a woman have an adventure. It was an invitation for other women to imagine themselves having one.
